Hi! I'm George, a software engineer/web developer living in the Big Apple (aka. New York City)

I have spent the last 5 years of my life travelling the world working for a major U.S. airline as a flight attendant.

A Snippet about George

My passion for technology has been a constant in my life. From being a child playing video games, to an adult who just has to have the newest and greatest devices, I've always enjoyed discovering and learning about new advancements in tech. I taught myself to code a bit of HTML and CSS when I was just 13 years old, but later in my life I set my passion for coding aside and pursued other careers.

Now I'm back and reinpsired to again pursue my love of coding at Thinkful! I am so happy to rejoin the coding community and work with thousands of developers from around the world together on future projects!

Coding is not my only passion though, here are a few other things that I enjoy:

  • Travelling around the world
  • Learning new languages
  • Picnics in Central Park

Technology Quiz App

I created this Technology Quiz application with jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, in order to showcase my skills in DOM Traversal and Manipulation and showcase that in a fun and exciting manner.

World Wide Wanderlust

I developed this application to utilize information from multiple APIs and provide users with an easy to use application that takes a city name and searches a database to retrieve a short description and provide options for more information to the user, such as Restaurants, Things to Do, and Accomodations. This App uses HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
